As the father of a child with challenges, I know firsthand the difficulties parents face in finding adequate support for their children. It is difficult, time consuming, daunting, and an extremely lonely process. Support is not readily available, and difficult to research and discover. Couple that with watching your child’s self esteem diminish, and observing them falling further behind their classmates, it really is a challenging and overwhelming time for a family.
